We had to cancell our SOB race this morning due to a nasty offshore fog , the race is now scheduled for Sunday August 28 , at 10 AM weather permitting .
Luckily the fog burned off this afternoon and I was able to take my boat out and burn off some stress offshore .
Later I met some friends in a canal near Tanner park for a cookout while enjoying a free Eddie Money concert in the park .
I had a pretty shitty night last night , luckily I was staying at my house in town and not my beach place , cause I recieved a call from my mother about my dad having a nasty fall out of bed , apparently my dad had a bad reaction to his pain pills after alchohol consumption , so I had the joyous task of lifting my naked father back into bed . A couple of hours later I had to make a return trip to my parents house to help my dad get to the bathroom and ended up spending the night there as my mother is legally blind and incapable of dealing with such situations
