This week must be the dying week , one of my employees didn't show up for work two days in a row , then last night I get a phonecall from his family telling me that he died on Sunday , so I have a funeral and wake to attend on Thursday . Then around 11PM I finally sit down with my local newspapers , only to find another good friends father in the obituaries , so that adds another funeral and wake on Friday afternoon .

I'm working on putting together a high end pumpgas motor for the vette , as soon as I hear back from J&E Pistons to verify the final specs of my custom pistons , they will start the mfg process . Every part of this engine in custom built , nothing is off the shelf , so it will make a killer cruise night ride , and trying to drive around the streets with my 15:1 race motors was a pain in the ass .

We are hoping for another good night for our weekly Wednesday night boating event , the turnout has been incredible as of late and many claim that this event has been going on for several decades , but I can only remember good amounts of boats for the past 20 years cause going back to my early childhood , I can only remember around 10 boats showing up .

If we can finish getting all the needed permits , we will be having a SOB race at 10AM Sunday morning on Great South Bay . This race is being held solely to shut up the big mouthed assholes that failed to show their faces at our GPS speed trials last june . The race course will have a combination of very rough and calm water so that noone can complain about the water conditions being too flat , or too rough . I'd be willing to bet that the loudest of that bunch will be noshows again
