Well another stressfull day has come to an end , I only slept for about an hour this morning followed by several 15 minute catnaps throughout the day . With some luck I might be able to crash for four or five hours after I wind down some . I need to start walking around some during the day to start loosening up my injured knee , my doctors claim all my knee needs is therapy , my back is sore still and my broken ribs keep me up all night when I try to sleep , plus my stitches itch like hell , never mind how uncomfortable the tape on my ribs is

The newly lightened airframe has needed much of the fly by wire software to be virtually rewritten due to the severe changes in the center of gravity , at least the test pilots have stopped joking about drawing straws to see who has the missfortune of being the pilot on the next flight test We have seven more days of flight tests before shipping the airframe back to skunkworks for further mods , In August we will be conducting flight tests with a new engine .
