Well Nadya is still all pissed off about me not wanting her to move in with me after seriously dating for almost three weeks , I mean it's not like I'm some kind of bad guy for wanting to get to know her better , am I ?
I had one of those unwanted parental visits today , my mom stopped by and started nosing around the few things I have moved into my new house so far , she came into my office with what she thought was computer parts , luckily she didn't realise what she was holding was a new laser sight for a handgun . I set the forms in place for a 11 X 15 foot concrete and steel gun safe in my basement , I have a bank vault door on order for it . Tuesday the cement truck will be here to pour the concrete , so I had to tear the carpet out of the dining room and cut holes in the floor to pour the gun safe ceiling . I'm using engineered lumber to create a more open game room / bar area as there is no sense in having lolly columns in the middle of the floor . I have to remodel both bathrooms and have already purchased a new stove and dishwasher , in December or January I will be replacing all the carpeting and wallpaper etc.... I have a seemingly endless list of work do before I am happy with the place . And I have yet to start to pack up all my belongings at my old place , with some creative financing I may be able to buy all new furniture , as most of my old stuff is not in the best condition or was hand me downs to begin with , I most certainly need a new dining room set and living room setting . I have way to much work to do around the house period .
I will actually be working for a day this week , an old customer of mine whose house I wired when I was working as an electrical contractor years ago called out of the blue about some new installations at their house , so out of pure boredom I agreed to do the work , if just to get out of the house .
There is no food left in the house and I have not eaten yet ,so I'm off to the farmers market for something good to eat .
I just saw the Spongebob squarepants movie and it was good for a few laughs
Fuck ! I let some of my customers know that I'm thinking of running my consulting firm as a full time job after the first of the year , Well some of them need me now and I'm gonna run out of time for myself .
