Ok I've about had it with people shouting " ho ho ho " this holiday has been totally out of control . Last night at my aunts Christmas party , my cousins young autistic child allmost burned the house down , he had set a couch on fire with a candle while everyone else was downstairs in the family room with santa . We pushed the burning couch through a sliding glass door onto the deck , then over the railing into the snow . My aunt and uncle had taken custody of the kid while my cousin is in jail , but now they are afraid they may not be able to provide the proper care , never mind controlling him 24 hours a day , so he might have to go into some type of managed care home now .
My energy levels are not up to dealing with all the Christmas parties this year , I need to slow down a little bit . After my recent illness I really should not have hosted a party at my house , but I did and felt drained on Christmas eve because of it .
I enjoy giving gifts during this whole holiday ordeal , but hate recieving gifts from others , I allways tell my entire family not to get me anything cause I generally just go out and buy anything that I want anyways . They never listen though ... so I now own three watches that are each valued at over $5,000 , they might sound like pretty good gifts ... wrong !!!! I don't wear watches and never have , many people like to wear them as status symbols ... I see them as useless in that manner . As far as I'm concerned my two beautiful homes , my job , my aerospace consulting firm , my electrical contracting company , and my boats are far better examples of status symbols in this world we live in .
At least I was able to take my boat out on the sound for a few hours yesterday during the warm weather before being exposed to another overdose of family .
Have you ever noticed how a house full of grown adults can turn into a bunch of babling idiots when you add a few newborn babies to the crowd , I allmost go fucking insane when exposed to that bullshit .
Well now I need to unwind some while waiting for a few guests to show up at my house to get the gifts I bought them , then I can remind them not to visit me unless I invite them to do so

I don't particularly like gifts either. Everyone in the family knows they can never go wrong with Lingerie. Like you said if I want it I buy it. Hope you have a better New Year
