I've been holed up in my beach house for a couple of days now , just lounging in the sun room and sleeping in between visits from nosy relatives . It's nice to be able to sleep in my own bed and not be woken up by some damn nurse every hour or so for meds or drawing blood etc ... Now I just need to put and end to all the visitors , I bought the property and put up a weekend home on it so I would have a quiet place to unwind and enjoy romantic weekends .. .. I DID NOT BUILD THE PLACE SO UNINVITED FRIENDS AND FAMILY CAN SHOW UP AND CRASH THERE EVERY WEEKEND !!!!!! Now a bunch of people think I'm the grinch that stole christmas I DON'T CARE !!! It amazes me how once people know my address they assume they can stop by anytime they want , my neighbors tell me that my friends get take out at local seafood places and eat it on my deck when I'm not home WTF???? I just spent ten days in the hospital and none of them came to see me once , yet they had four picnics at my beach house ASSHOLES

Last week a lifelong friend flew out here to visit me in the hospital , he died of a heart attack here in Connecticut Saturday , I allmost didn't attend his calling hours last night cause I didn't want the image of him in the coffin to be my last memory of him . His wife is flying his body back to Oklahoma where we will have his funeral on Saturday morning
