While I agree with what you're saying, you have to keep in mind that every agent was once unproven talent. They had to get licensed and talk their way into a real estate office.

I honestly think I can do it. I've rented seven houses in under two weeks. I know quite a few property/apartment managers, and none of them have done that, except one apartment manager (but when you have 300+ units and spend a grand or more a month on advertising it's expected you rent a unit every other day).

Besides, real estate is the kind of work I'd gladly bust my ass for, because it's the kind of work that when you give it 110%, you get back 220%, you know? The rewards of a job well done are tremendous, and fruitful.

in june theres a senior scholarships night where the HS pretty much gives everyone about $1k in scholarships.


rutgers is also givin me $5k/year for the first four years...which means about $12k/yr for the first four then $20k/yr for the last two...when people talk shit about rutgers i tell them that 6 years of schooling for a pharmd will cost the same as a year for them..that usually works.

Yeah, I've been looking into it - us Texans have a name for catfish that size....bait. They're fucking TINY! I talked to some people that were telling me they hooked into some huge 3lbs catfish the other day. Three pounds? You fucking kidding me!? That's barely keepin' size. Well, so I told 'em - they thought I was crazy when I said we have a lot of 100lbs catfish down here. All you gotta do is hire a trophy fishing guide and they'll guarantee at least one in three days, plus huge 50+lbs every day until then.

Thought about renting a UHaul truck with a tow rig, but jesus that's a waste. I don't know the price, but I know a four-wheel trailer is about $500. All I need is a $250 trailer and a $900 camper shell. No matter how you slice it, I end up saving money AND I get a camper shell I'll actually use in Seattle, with the rain and all. Although I hate the look of campershells on most trucks, but fuck it - my truck ain't my G ride, so it doesn't matter what it looks like.

Oh, and the catfish might be tiny in Seattle, but the Shad are fucking monsters! No wonder, cause the best catfish bait in the world (ask any pro and they'll tell you) is Shad. Somehow it doesn't surprise me that the kitties are tiny and the Shad are huge - the Shad just got a jump start on the kitties and took over. Still, that won't stop me from FedEx'ing boxes of Shad on frozen ice to my catfishing buddies down here for cutbait! Might even make some money while I'm at it (considering some places on the Columbia you'll catch 75-100 Shad a day for weeks on end, I could get quite a little stash...you know, if I was willing to poach and all).

Yeah, apparently they eat shad a bit up there too. I hear it's pretty bony, but is good smoked.

Down here Shad don't get bigger then guppies, but are just the best fucking bait ever. Even work good for bass and red drum, but nothing like they do for catfish.

Circle hooks are OK. I use them when I'm fishing with more then one pole and won't have time to set the hook myself. But this time I was using a kahle, as usual, but wasn't planning on getting so many calls. The thing I don't like about circles is you CAN'T set the hook with 'em, if you try it just pulls it right out of the fishes mouth. I'm not used to seeing my rod bent in half and not setting the hook, you know?

Yeah, I snapped a pole once with a monster yellow cat and my drag on all the way. After that I became more drag conscious (spl?) then anyone I know. Just figured out how to use the bait clicker on my new spincaster (first one), so this ought to be interesting.

The more I look at maps of Seattle/Kent/Tacoma, the more excited I am about moving up there! There are lakes/ponds/rivers EVERYWHERE! and they are all fishable. Christ, that is going to be fucking heaven....now if only it wasn't so fucking cold...have to get me some subarctic gear! Be the only idiot on the water with a furlined jacket and ski mask on when it's 50 degrees out! lol

Yeah, them catfish like the warm water. Our state record blue catfish is currently the world record all tackle blue catfish - 120+lbs

The red drum on my lake get fucking huge cause it's a fresh water lake so they don't spawn, but they still prepare for it, meaning they put on tons of weight, and they live a long time too cause they have no natural predators, except guys like me Even those monster 70lbs catfish we have in the lake steer clear of them bull reds

you bet your ass they had camel jockies with broomsticks for whips and everything! great times had by all!
