So I'm considering getting a nose piercing some time this weekend. I've wanted one for a long time and loved em' since I was a teenager. Back then I was very self-conscious about my nose and truthfully I still am somewhat today. Just because it's on the larger side and, due to birth troubles, was born with it crooked. I remember back when I was about 13 or 14 years old I use to cover half my face with my hair because of it. It was a pretty big step for me to finally pull my hair back and quit hiding.
I'm slowly starting to feel good in my body more and more and I feel like getting a needle shoved through my nose would be a nice way to say 'fuck you' to self-consciousness. ;)
