So I was watching The Animal Planet two nights ago.... and there was an episode on endangered species.....they started talking about the Slender Loris primate. What a cool creature. I basically want 10 to have for pets. So neat! Their back legs and ears remind me of a bat! So anyways... today you get trivia on this lil species.

~The slender loris is a very slow moving animal. It creeps along branches on its legs and rarely comes to the ground. They have a fat face with large eyes and hardly any tail.
~At night it eats insects and other small animals. Instead of using its teeth to kill prey they lunge forward and grabs its victims with its hands.
~Where the animal lives: Southern India, Sri Lanka, Worldwide except in polar water

~The loris is a nocturnal animal that feeds on large mollusks, birds, insects, and fruit. Lorises generally move slowly and regularly, but can move very quickly when striking to kill their prey. The name loris comes from the Dutch word meaning 'clown', and it's probably because they have round faces and large eyes that they got that name.
~Lorises live in Southeast Asia and Indonesia. They are nocturnal animals, who climb through the trees very slowly, in search of their small prey. Sometimes a loris hangs by its feet, freeing up its hands to catch insects

~The Slender Loris is a beautiful animal. The base color is orange/brown, and white on the cheeks, mouth, eyebrows, and stomach.
~Lorises are an endangered species. Loss of forest cover has greatly limited the habitat in which they can live. Unlike other species, they cannot adapt to living in different places such as home gardens. Lorises can also be the victim of road kill and are sometimes hunted for the pet trade. Sri Lanka does have national parks that protect the Lorises, and it is here you can still see some.
~There are only about 1,500 Slender Loriss left in Sri Lanka.

I am shooting a set on Sunday!!!! WHAT WHAT!!! YEAH YEAH!!! All I am going to tell you is... it is a multi with more then 5 girls! Soooooooo excited to see how this one turns out... and to hang out with all the awsome ladies! I get to play a really fun part for the set....and that is all I am saying. I am super excited.
