I hope to one day either make a movie and use this song in the trailer orrrrr finally accomplish my dream of setting sail on the open seas and have this on repeat:

Best song to listen to while driving over the ocean or through a road with lots of trees on a sunny day. Plus at 4:04, it sounds like he says, "Hannah, come. Come, come, come to me!"

Discovered this fan-made video a little while back when looking up this song. I haven't seen Paper Moon but it's definitely on my list of movies to see:
I came across this band DeVotchKa as a wee 17-year-old when I worked at Hollywood Video. The preview for Everything Is Illuminated used one of their songs (and probably most well-known) "How It Ends", and I enjoyed listening to it... So I wrote down some of the lyrics and went home that night to find it. To my delight, I ended up enjoying a bit more than just that song by them. When living in Arizona, DeVotchKa played a show in Tucson BUT ALAS!!!! It was a 21+ show, and I was 19 or 20 at the time. BAH! So now I'll probably never see them.

I have never seen paper Moon, either, but if you weren't aware- a 10 year old Tatum O'Neal won the Oscar for her role in it, making her the youngest Oscar winner in history.
And really, how can you go wrong with a band called Devotchka?
I think I may have to put you in charge of making my mix CDs from now on..
