yada yada still no word.... the more I see on the news the angrier I get. If my family IS ok how much longer does that hold true? Why is the government not doing more to help? Are they really trying to convince people in their smug TV appearances that they are doing all they can while they sit in their big ass houses and talk of hosting benefit dinners to raise money while dead bodies float by where babies are fed by their mothers?!!!!!!!

Basics like food and water could be air dropped in regardless of road conditions- Citys are running out of space to put Katrinas refugees.. why has no one thought of the novel idea of a tent city somewhere, and why have I seen these types of places spring up in other less organized countries when disaster strikes.
This whole event just shows how ill prepared we are against any kind of disaster.. be it natural or manmade...and how little the government values an american life.
