i can't believe you are ditching us for the real world. the nerve! thank you for the feedback and stuffs. yes, the background was not what i had in mind. actually, i had planned to do the whole set in that green chair, but it was so big and the room so small that it became unwieldy to deal with. maybe the next set will be more stellar....

Sorry. I haven't been on the computer much lately. After I got back from my vacation I had to move, so that kept me away some. Mostly, I'm working on a different type of experiment on a different rig in the lab, so it's a lot harder to slink over to my laptop and do some posting. Of course, these are all excuses, and I don't accept excuses from other people, so you shouldn't accept them from me. I'll try to get on more often.

I love the picture on the top. Did you use a special filter for that?

wow you would think even the most angry person would understand not to mess with a semi, not that I think truck drivers are asses or anything, just that semis are difficult to drive under good circumstances never mind when someone is making it hard for them. Poor guy, I come from a family with a lot of truckers (yet I dont drive at all, I fit in so well) and one of my cousins had a motorcycle pull dire tly in front of him and take a spill. There was no way he could stop but he felt so much guilt he never drove his rig again. Sold it a few weeks later. In middle management now and I know he hates it. One of the things I see a lot of is bicyclists who aggressively pass and cut off or squeeze between buses. Just a dumb move, the blind spot on a bus is huge.

I did have a good time. Lately all my times have been good (well except for a brief angst filled moment on wednesday) Which is a nice change for me. I have not seen the village yet either. But I have avoided any spoiler talk. I think my friend the law student, heretoafter to be referred to as Law school girl, wants me to take her to that next.

heh I think it is funny that your joke telling is attracting attention. Sapient_fool hardly talks to anyone. I would consider that quite a compliment. That was a very cute joke by the way. Wow I wouldnt have expected a lot of gunplay in New Mexico. Then again I never used to expect it here. Guess it is everywhere now.

yeah, this storminess has been uncharacteristic. i mean, i live in scotland so i'm accustomed to lousy weather and more rainy days than not- but going out to buy a newspaper and walking straight into a river where the sidewalk used to be kind of took me aback a bit.

paris, texas is one of my favourite films too. i think i liek most of wim wenders' movies but between that and wings of desire he just kind of hits a level of laconic sadness that's entirely beautiful.

well i still think you are funny, after all half of being funny is recognizing funny when you hear it and passing it on.
