Seriously here, most parents would call child protection if I told them that i used to let my 5 year old daughter play out unsupervised, its so sad, they miss out on so much. All they have is 'playdates' for a couple of hours.

I used to have a friend whos Dad used to whistle when it was time for her to come in, you could hear it from miles away. biggrin

Jumpers for goalposts..those were the days.

As for making my own bread, I really should try, I'm just too darn lazy..tongue

And I've been meaning to tell you for ages but I used to live in Scapegoat Hill, about 5 miles out of Huddersfield, if you're ever fancy a drive out to somewhere new to shoot, on a clear day the view from up their is spectacular and I know at least one person who would appreciate looking at the pictures!
You could get a nice pint and a good steak and kidney pie in The Scapehouse pub too! biggrin

Sweet!

***POST GIG EDIT***
owwww my head hurts.....Fantastic night playing to a packed out venue and a home crowd...we made enough from the gig to cover the first run of Cd's and made a small profit...every CD sold from here on in is in the bank towards the cost of a new PA.Thanks for the messages of support. Am one happy but hungover bunny this fine...

Belated good luck man!

I don't understand all the rules of roller derby. But essentially is it a sport where the girls skate in circles and certain girls are supposed to pass through the pack to score points. Other girls block... almost like football. That's really all I know except that the girls are tough and kinda brutal sometimes knocking each other over and whatnot. It doesn't sound interesting in words... just one of those things you kind of have to experience. I guess, from the SG Rollergirls group, they even have it in the UK.

And I thank you. We just moved into a house and I am loving that basement already!
Congrats and best with the MF... can't wait to see the results.

Cheers! smile

I never look at the new sets unless it's someone I know or it really catches my attention. I miss the way things used to be around here... I almost cancelled my subscription a while ago. I had like 2 days left, and then was like ahh, fuck it. I'll stick around. It's not like it's super expensive.

On that note, no, not rich yet. Working at it, but not yet. I'm redesigning my site. It really bothers me!!

You're much better placed to speak about the realities of life elsewhere than I am, for sure.

I hope things are improving.

Hey Kpan. Was thinking about you and hoping you are doing okay. I sent a long message yesterday but had net issues and it jammed or something when I hit send. I think it deleted. I just wanted to say hi.

Hehe it's going ok. I find it hard not to be distracted by my dogs, and the fact that I can just get up and get something to eat or whatever. Also, having SG here sucks too.... I'll go online to the photo group to see if I can find the answer to a question, and then I'll end up staying there for an hour. Guh. Discipline!! It's hard! wink

Well it's been a while and I did promise lots of pictures and stuff so here goes.
I have been back from Africa for 3 weeks now and it still feels weird. Styaing a month has really turned me upside down and inside out. It is so different from our western reality. I have never felt so accepted in a place.
Being a musician who...

I wish that people had more access to humanity. I'm sick of everything being super glossed over. What I mean is- I love this photo. It's gorgeous and loving and joyous.

Thank you so much for checking out my set! I love getting such amazing feedback on it- especially from somebody who's no newbie behind the camera himself! kiss

You seem like the coolest guy. Seriously.
