working like a dog...weirdly in the midst of the recession my work has exploded...good karma for all the previous free community work? who knows? i am travelling far and wide to drum with all and sundry which is great but very tiring...specially as i am sporting the mother of all colds right now...s'bin a weird couple of weeks...outside of work i have been feeling displaced somewhat in my world...can't quite put a finger on what it is but i have a sense of deep rooted anxieties being released...maybe that's a good thing..i feel a tad vulnerable and at times tearful.....physically i am unhappy with myself and feeling like i am ageing really fast......achy and stiff and too busy to do anything about it...lame excuse huh?

musically things are moving on with the remnants of maghribibeat, since our moroccan upped and fucked off....the new band is coming together nicely and soon there will be recordings....watch this space...can't get this song out of my head at the moment....

being so busy means no camera time...weather has been crap too...i'll take it away next week when i'll be on the road for 3 days...fingers crossed

and finally i got a little country rock fix driving home tonight and listening to Bob Harris on the radio...check this....

Haha, I have a way of thinking that may not sound bright at all. I believe that things happen in cycles. And sometimes there are lots of same sort of things happening around me and my loved ones and my friends. Those situations, to me, feel like there's some sort of a storm around me. Those storms always bring changes.

It's hard to try to put these sort of things into the limited form of a word.

That sounds like some good advise. Clearly he enjoys being treated just like any other dick on the street. Who am I to spoil his fun?
I think it's just the shock of not realizing all this time. I've lived very close to some bona fide celebs before. Never literally over my fence, but whatever. I don't really get star-struck and wouldn't fawn over him or anything, it's just. . .!!! he's right there, taking out his trash with me every Sunday and Thursday, tending his garden, riding his bike around town, like he's one of us!
The nerve of some people!, yah know? lol.
