owwww my head hurts.....Fantastic night playing to a packed out venue and a home crowd...we made enough from the gig to cover the first run of Cd's and made a small profit...every CD sold from here on in is in the bank towards the cost of a new PA.Thanks for the messages of support. Am one happy but hungover bunny this fine day
Well I am up and about bright and early on a sat morning...amazing!!!!!
Today is the Album launch and though we have played this set a million times I am soooo excited and nervous too....It's like Christmas...did not sleep a wink last night...afraid I am building this up into something bigger than it is yet daring to dream of playing at Womad in a years time....
We have 200 CD'S all dressed up and ready to go...soon as paypal authorises our new bank account you will be able to purchase said CD's from our Myspace
So today will be spent buzzin around prepearing and feeling mnore and more excited....God there's hours to go before we even soundcheck. We sat down as a band last night and listened to our Album together for the first time...Was really quite a moment looking round the room and feeling a real sense of achievement...this could be the beginning of something....musically we really gel at the moment and live it all comes together with a sprinkling of magic.....Wish Me Luck for tonight even if its belated.
On another note...show some love to this lady seva
You know how I was saying I don't really look at the sets anymore...well yesterday I was drawn into this one.
Here is an example of what I think is one of the most beautifully shot sequences I have seen in a while.
This particular image is I think exceptional in its composition. Just wonderful....and she does cool quotes too
So I am off to run around all excitedly for the rest of the day....Peace and Love

I don't understand all the rules of roller derby. But essentially is it a sport where the girls skate in circles and certain girls are supposed to pass through the pack to score points. Other girls block... almost like football. That's really all I know except that the girls are tough and kinda brutal sometimes knocking each other over and whatnot. It doesn't sound interesting in words... just one of those things you kind of have to experience. I guess, from the SG Rollergirls group, they even have it in the UK.
And I thank you. We just moved into a house and I am loving that basement already!
