Well twas an intense weekend as things go...emotional upheaval in my life right now and not something i would like go into too much detail about..... suffice to say its been a bit of a rollercoaster this last few weeks...its funny how at times of difficulty we can bounce from one extreme to another....everythings ok to everythings fucked in a matter of hours...or is that just me?? Gigged with Maghribibeat at the weekend at a local Hafla...dissapointing set and some interband tensions spilling over into rows...someone is going to get fired me thinks???? Had some quality family time and visited friends with a new baby girl and then took in the City game with my son...tense watching but the right result and we now lie 2nd in the table...the foundations of a good side are present here and with careful coaching and management the future for the club looks brighter than for many a day...have just completed a marketing drive for the company rhythmbridge and am now in the horrible wait and see if it will pay off situation...worrying is no use but sometimes hard not too...thy will be done/insha'allah an all that...I am trying to remain in the present with all that is going on....tis my birfday soon and my partner is planning a weekend away for us at the place where we first met some 24 years ago........
Will be nice to trip back in time in a way although it could be intersting as it will be freshers week whilst we are there...too much deja vu
