yeah, it's something (a slightly wonky aortic valve) that they want to monitor. it's not serious in my case, but it's the kind of thing they like to keep an eye on.

have you taken your xmas night photos yet?
fearthereaper:
Do you actually live there? Are you a fucking hobbit?

Yeah, I saw that story with the teddy bear. Totally reasonably, no?

Strike is going ok publicity wise. The studios have apparently been shocked at our call to strike and our resolve. If they don't make a deal within a couple of months, they will lose two pilot seasons, which would mean billions of dollars. And advertisers have started to ask for their money back, so they have a lot of pressure being put on them. Ha.

They agreed to come back to the negotiating table yesterday and it apparently all went well. So, that is good news.

I have a cold, so haven't been walking the picket line.

Man City is still an abomination.

A lot of my early blogs here were just Rumi poetry...I love Rumi
Here is another example of his work that resonates with me right now....

There is some kiss we want with our whole lives,
the touch of spirit on the body.

Sea water begs the pearl to break its shell.
And the lily, how passionately it needs some wild darling!

At night, I...

Well that poetry is certainly mood inspiring. I am so happy that you have such a steady flow of work. I know you were worried. But you were open and the opportunities came a flowing in.

Things are rather good with me. Working a lot, at the moment but still time for fun. One thing I need is more exercise though. I've been too beat every night to hit the biking trails and I kind of need that sort of outlet....so hopefully I will get my act together by this weekend and get to peddling again.

" I feel I have done something creative when I have thrown myself wholeheartedly into a task and fought it...

You will have to fill me in on the definition of creeper in the U.K. I'm sure it is obscene as you Brits have very filthy minds. But, no worries. I'm quite alright. I'm not so sure if the tragedy (using that word for exaggerated effect) comes from a lack of respect as much as it involves desires, affectons, and impossible situations. But, that is life, eh.

yes, the download only version is pick your own price. after much wavering though, i went for the big box version. i just couldn't help myself blush

i read the start of that page you linked... i'll probably collapse under the weight of my own paranoia if i read too much in one go! this kind of thing is so depressing and infuriating and scary.

that festival does look like a great time. i like drumming, even if it's only on the edge of a desk or something. that's usually as far as i go, because i don't actually have any drums... a friend once went to the gambia and brought back a big drum; i had a go and i loved it biggrin
