finally finished redecorating my gf's new room, she moved in over a month ago now. we were gonna leave the light fittings for the electrician but the landlord is shit at getting things done quick, plus he has next door to sort out.
fitting the new lights was just as tricky as i thought it'd be and i was totally amazed when i flicked the switch and it worked. it took over three hours to swap the switches alone so i though fitting the actual light was gonna be totally beyond me.
all looks fookin schaaweet now though, wish we had taken some before pix. it was a total shithole in there, now it is very pretty indeed.
got some funds to pay off some debts, i owe the gf aboot a hundred and we had the baliffs around last week about 389quid that we owe for council tax, but we're gonna pay it and so our stuff is secure. got 217quid bill for a month and a halfs worth of electricity as well which seems just a tad steep, but i am worried that my computer is gonna up the bill from now cuz its on 24/7 these days.
i have so many things to watch, i thought i'd check out the l word, saw a bit of the first one before dinner and it looked alright, bit like sex in the city for lesbians or summat, got the new desperate housewives episode to watch and the two oc's. what the fuck has happened to me and why the fuck am i into so much trashy tv. to counter balance it i have got a bunch of horizon epsiodes which i've missed and chris morris' nathan barley, i have no fucking clue what thats gonna be about, but apparently theres a suicide girl in it according to the sguk group.
doing that diy stuff today gave me chance to listen to the pumpkins some more, i've had a good days worth of music listening, the kills album is pretty good and not much like the garage indie band stuff which i really am not into at all. i saw the video for the new single which is the only reason i'm even into them, the chick totally looks like robin in her first set, and her voice is goddamned sexy! its a bit cowboys and indians but doesn't wander too much into that terrirtory thankfully. the singer from mercury rev, his voice annoys me quite a lot now and i've really been into them ever since deserters songs... but its just a bit too weird and try hard now, the trail of dead album is nothing like i expected it to be, but i havent listened to it properly, again i was really into them when madonna came out but i still havent checked out source tags and codes, i should put them somewhere near the top of my to do list.
