Wow, six months sure flies when you have shit to do. I have been busy building boats and start a kayak later this week--as soon as some of the lumber arrives. I think I have logged into SG twice, maybe three times in the last six months, looked at my recent activity bar and shut it down after reading one or two of the highlights. Not too much going on, I have an overseas tentative move date: October 15th. Then I will be looking at getting everything settled in Auckland and finding a job and getting settled for however long I stay there.

The realisation that I move a lot is wearing thin on me right me I counted it the other day, since I graduated from college 11 years ago, I have moved 7 times; 5 of those moves are across state lines. I keep saying so I might not actually get around to it, but I have been thinking about posting pictures of the boat I built at school in Maine. We will see if I get off my ass enough to do it today.

I am currently living in So. Kentucky. It's my grandfather's house and I am helping him out. He's 90 and can't drive anymore, if I weren't here he would be in a home or a living with my mother in CT. So, since I am leaving in the fall, I thought I would come and spend the summer with him and get some work done down here.

It's a nice region, it rained all last night. When it rains it is big sheets of rain with thunder and lightning. Really wonderful stuff.
