My friend Niobe has this fancy counter thing that counts down the days to some even in her life. Lately a Matt Kearney concert, I think. I am too lazy to find out how to work that, but I wish I wasn't. On Friday morning early I leave for Mt. Rainier in Washington state. I will be incommunicado for around 7 days. I am excited and terrified.
