The good that comes out of all the weird shit in my life is that I stepped on a scale this morning and weighed in at 268. That is over 100 pounds less than my all time high, and 60 pounds in the last year.

Now for the other good news, one year ago I wore the following sized clothes:
46 inch waist pants
54 inch chest jacket
19 inch neck shirt
XXXL t-shirt

Today

40 inch waist (and it is loose)
48 inch chest
17 inch neck shirt
XL t-shirt

I think I owe a ton of the credit to my CrossFit gym in Providence, those guys stuck by me and pushed me. I am at the point now where I am within 35 pounds of my ideal weight and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I leave for Mt. Rainier in Seattle next week and I think it is going to feel pretty damn good to not have to heft up an additional 70 pounds of flesh. I am also stronger I think than I have been in a long time and I feel better about myself. So it's all good.

Maybe things are looking up?
