I spent the weekend taking care of me. I went to see my grandfather in CT and then I picked up a truck that I am going to need when I go to school this fall.

I have been listening to a lot of the new Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs' album. Which is pretty durn amazing. I am a big fan of Karen O and I had the luxury of seeing her live a while ago, she is one of the hardest rocking women I have seen. If you are of a certain age and you remember Joan Jett, she is like that; but, she also can sing some really awesome ballads and that is the thing that blows my 4 watt brain.

In other news, no wait, there is no other news. Some work out stuff and weight loss stuff that is cool and interesting but particularly germane to the people that read this journal. The highlight is that I am now closer to my target weight than I am to my original weight, a net loss so far of about 60 lbs, or 27 kilos. I am excited because I feel better than I have in years.

My favorite SG people have big news coming up. Pulse's birthday is today and she has a new set coming up in Member Review so keep your eyes peeled for it, then shower it with affection. And Zupertelic's membership is expiring and I am going to miss her because she is my first friend on this site. Which also means that my membership is coming up for renewal, although I thought I was a May-ish member, who knows. I can barely remember what day it is these days.
