I don't own a pet, or a plant. I have owned dogs, I would consider myself a dog person, except that there are a handful of cats that I think are the coolest creatures ever.
Now, I am house sitting and the owners have a cat, one that I am not fond of. She is a bit of a pain in the ass, always wanting to go inside and outside, sometimes with seconds in between. However, she likes to sleep on the bed with the adults and I am learning that sleeping with a cat is a skill unto itself.
For some reason Cleo, that's the cat's name, likes to sleep in the crook of my leg. Maybe I kick out heat, I don't know, but I feel guilty changing positions when I know that there is a cat there.
Well enough from me, I am off to Crossfit. Ugh!

So yeah, I guess the stories are what makes life worth living!
Our cat Peaches is the same way, and my cat Sarge growing up would do the same thing as well. Something about the crook of the leg I think reminds them of when they were snuggly little kittens and they would sleep all balled up with four of their brothers and sisters.
