So... getting in shape is tough work. But I am doing it and I have done something that I have never done before. Namely, I have quit making excuses and hauled my ass out of bed to go and run. Now, my knees are fucking killing me and I am going to have to try and find a way to be a better, more efficient stretcher but it's a start.
Already I can feel a difference in the load I am carrying around. I also noticed that my watches have to be tightened up a little bit. So there is progress and that is cool.
I saw an amazing movie this week. Traitor, with Guy Pearce and Don Cheadle. I would watch Don Cheadle play a paperbag, I really would, I just think he is so special as an actor. I absolutely love him. Guy Pearce is also pretty great and outside of Ravenous he has had a pretty good career. It is a pretty heavy movie shows a lot of the beauty and the dark shadow of the Islamic faith. I am not a religious person so I appreciate something that shows both sides of things. I would also classify this in the run, don't walk group of movies.
Today is sort of rainy and blah in Providence and I am thinking I might go out for a walk and stretch my legs a little bit.
This month I ran 29.5 miles. (I only started logging them in the last two weeks, so it might be more.)

Good on ya for getting in shape. I'm doing the same thing except I couldn't run unless someone was chasing me
Also thanks for the comment.
