I will not be posting in the journal again until July 6th or 7th.

I am going to a monastery in California to sit and stare at walls; and in my spare time clean toilets and wash dishes. I am surprised at how much I will miss this site.

I have been in California for the last two days. She lives in Echo Park and I have had the opportunity to walk around a little bit. I absolutely love Echo Park. The best coffee I have found is at a place called Chango. Great stuff and a staff that is surly enough to be memorable but friendly enough to keep me coming back.

I like LA more than I remember liking it as a kid. It is funny how time changes your memories.

See you all in two weeks. Read books, drink coffee.
