Brilliant! I am up to three friends!
Speaking of friends, I got into Facebook because I liked playing Scrabble, then I started tracking down people I knew from college, or highschool, or old casual acquaintances that I lost touch with. But what I am experiencing now is the odd friend menagerie that I am being added to. It sounds weird to say it because I don't know any of my three friends here on SG. If I do, then I am bad bad man and have forgotten them, but that is neither here nor there.
What chaps my ass about Facebook is that people that know me, have my phone number, have my email address, know where I live, and make absolutely zero effort to get in touch with, or maintain a relationship with me, want to be my friend. And it says something about my disdain for them - and that laissez faire friendship attitude - that I am psyched to have three friends I don't know on SG and wouldn't add these other folks for all the tea in China.
Totally other news, today is the first of what promises to be many miserable humid summer days in Providence. Yuck. The air is so close and thick that it feels you are swallowing your breath rather than breathing it.
I am reading: Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez (who is fucking brilliant)
I am listening to: The Brunettes' Mars Loves Venus. (Awesome band from Australia, awesome album.)

Chris, I used to date a girl from Apollo, PA which if my memory serves me is near Pittsburgh.
Thanx for your comment, I'm going to Quertaro out of Mexico City
