A few days ago, I bought a set of disc golf discs and went to a new course in Moraine State Park. I love playing frisbee and thought it would be similar and easy to throw. It was the complete opposite. That first day, I couldn't get it to go any further than about 100 feet. I came home and looked up some techniques and shit online and today, I was throwing like 320 feet. I still suck, but I'm fucking addicted now. I played for the first time three days ago and I've played eighteen holes every day so far. I think I might get up in the morning and play eighteen more before work. It's kind of crazy how sore I can be from throwing a stupid, plastic disc. Damn, I'm out of shape! One other cool thing about it, we saw a bear the first day. They look a hell of a lot bigger when you're in the woods with them than they do in the zoo.
