Rangled another night off. Previous night it was drinking til six with the owner of a bar I really like here.
Tonight I headed out with my friend's boyfriend. Never really hung out with him before. Awesome awesome guy. He told me many stories. Including perhaps the best story ever.
He was at the Playboy Mansion (isn't that how all the best stories start?) talking with Crispin Glover when Alan Thick, the father of Family Ties and the host of some gameshow about animals, started hitting on his girlfriend. So he said, "Alan Thick why don't you lay off my girl?" And Alan Thick responded, "Do you know who I am?" And he said, "Yeah I know who you are, I just called you Alan Thick." At which point Alan Thick started pushing him outside so they could fight it out. At which point Crispin Glover stepped in to cool things down. Alan Thick left defeated, saying "There's plenty more fishes in the sea" and to drive this point home grabbed the ass of some girl. To which my friend replied, "Alan Thick, the plural of 'fish' is 'fish.'" Which could be the best comeback. Ever.
The story gets better when he explained he was talking with Crispin Glover about his most recent film called "What is it?" in which Glover stars, writes, directs a cast all afflicted with Down Syndrome. Glover plays King of the Retards, in which he leads a harem of retarded women in hardcore sex acts and guides a group of men in destroying snails that are trying to take over the world.
