Shifted jobs. Now working two hours away. Have to travel from the way north of Hong Kong to the very far south. Working night shifts at a place called Cyberport. It's like something out of THX or Space Odyssey. Scary when the building is more intelligent than you are.
In the morning the sun rises over the bay and I get a good view from my window.

While I know I would probably be better off without it, caffeine is one of the few vices I allow myself these days, and I would honestly have a very difficult time giving it up. But I appreciate the sentiment.

No, it's perfectly logical (to me) to think that marriage situation is strange. You know, I believe that sometimes we get so comfortable with our friends that we assume too much, or too little, and wind up having to reevaluate our perceptions. I'm definitely having to do that with my friend's marriage.

Are you certain that the building isn't actually Skynet?
