The top photo: you were in a lion fight, just because you didn't win doesn't mean you don't know how to roar - always been a facourite from a young age, whenever I wanted to give up because I couldn't do something my mama would say this quote and it always gave me the courage to try again.
The second photo: an arrow can only be shot by pulling it backwards, so when life is dragging you down with difficulties it means it's about to launch you into something great, so just focus and keep aiming - this quote goes with my tattoos I got after 6 months free of self harm, I spent 5 years doing it and covering my wrists with long sleeve tops, jumpers and bracelets. Covering my thighs with pants always, when I got this tattoo I got it because I knew I was done with self harming, my mother didn't carry me inside her for 9 months for me to hate myself and do this to my body. I kept aiming throughout the 5 years and finally was launched into the next chapter of my life. I'm now nearly 500 days self harm free.
Another fave is: don't be ashamed of your stretch marks you're a damn tiger who has event her stripes - I have stretch marks on my breasts, my hips, my thighs, all from developing quickly and having a constant battle and struggle with my weight. I used to hate wearing anything that revealed my stretch marks but now I wear them with pride. I'm a woman and I have a womanly figure and there is no reason to be ashamed of that.
