We survived Hurricane Katrina relatively unscathed. The worst of It hit just to the south of me. In the miami area.
We never even lost power.
To prove just how stupid I am. Instead of staying In my More inland Coral Springs brick house. I decided to drive to my friends house, which is basically like a trailer. In Pompano beach, which is about two miles from the beach. There we had a Hurricane party.
Needless to say I got pretty drunk. Me and my friend Ali were playing a card game called spit till about 4am, while everyone else had passedout. Fucking light weights.
I made it in to work at about 4pm today. Made some veggies for the diner menu, and prepped some of my morning shit, and was out of there by 5pm.
