Hello sexy people!

So I decided to change my name to something that is a little more fitting with the site and to something that actually means a lot more to me than a random stage name I picked out when I was 20.

Therefore I would like to reintroduce my self as Korra SGH!

For those of you who aren't familiar with the TV series Avatar: The Legend of Korra let me tell you a little about it. It follows on from the series Avatar: The Last Airbender and is based in a world split into 4 kingdoms of people that can manipulate or 'bend' the 4 elements of water, fire, air and earth. The Avatar is the link between the physical world and the spiritual world and is the master of all 4 elements. When we meet Korra in the TV series she is a teenage Avatar who is being trained and drilled in the elements. I won't give too much away if you've not seen it but she is this incredible headstrong, independent, fiery young woman who is ready to take on the world. She goes through a multitude of trials and tribulations and repeatedly has to prove her worth despite only being very young.

I basically identify very strongly with Avatar Korra and share a lot of personality traits with her and have been through a hell of a lot of shit which, like her, has made me into the person I am today! She is a character that means a lot to me because when I watched the TV series when I was in a really bad place and the show honestly really helped me to get through it all. I felt like her pain was my pain and it was a fantastic escape from my ( at the time) rather grim reality. But for both of us things got a lot better and have a happy ending!

I feel like this name is a very natural fit for me and is something that means the world to me and I cannot wait to do a cosplay set as Korra!
