Yay! I got a job notice from the Family and Children Services Agency and I called them back and now I'm on their last of potential employees. Yay. They're going to call me back sometime next week to schedule an interview.
I applied for the social services case management associate job. Although I would be under close supervision, I will learn to investigate, provide follow-up, or provide adoption and placement resources in cases of abuse, neglect, and exploitation. After a while I will develops proficiency in determining the level of risk and recommends appropriate action, and/or in providing follow-up intervention, assessment and case management.
Yay. My Sociology major is working for me, hehe. Now all I have to do is brush up on my interviewing skills. Bleh.
