Hey everyone! I hope yāall are doing well!
Iāve been so MIA lately because unfortunately, I caugh COVID. Luckily, Iām doing fine and my symptoms are very mild. Missing work is my least favorite part about this, but Iām really enjoying getting to take naps during the day and eating to my heartās content š
This isolation has also been good for other reasons too. Iāve had some time to go within and do some reflecting. Is archaeology something I can see myself doing long term, or should I go back to dancing in order to fund law school? Either way, I canāt to bothā¦at least for now.
Blending the two disciplines could be an option, but that would come way later down the road once Iām am established attorney. Archaeology is my passion, but Iād have to redirect all my attention away from law and get an advanced degree in archaeology. All of these are possible, itās just a matter of choosing my next step. Needless to say, Iām terrified.
But damn, what quality problems to have. These questions I have the luxury to ask myself today are such a far cry from where I was when I started my journey that eventually led me here.
Even though being stuck in this predicament sucks, this is forcing me to see my growth. Itās so easy to go and go and go and never stop to congratulate yourself or truly bask in your accomplishments. We should all do that every step of our journeys tho. Noticing this moment makes me realize how many moments of self praise I glossed over because I was so focused on the goal. No accomplishment, no matter how small, should go unnoticed, especially to yourself.
Love you all!
xoxo
