lose your illusions.

i woke up in my bed and the light was on. i suppose i did not intend to fall asleep.

have you all seen the music video for patience? it makes me squirm. damn you axl, for being so fine.

for awhile now i've been toying with the idea of getting my nipples pierced. the thing is, i really love my nipples and i'm worried about getting them pierced and being left with the scar tissue.

for those of you who have/had their nipples pierced, please tell me everything about it. the experience of getting them pierced, the healing, how you like them, how they feel. i need to know.

i especially want to hear from people who had their nipples pierced but took them out. how were your nipples after? what was the scar tissue like?

school starts soon for me. casey starts school tomorrow. summer is over. fall is beginning. and once again, everything will change.

i'm in love with my life and the possibility inherant in every single moment.

also, i demand to see nemesis's set.

They are very alike, actually, you're right. Doesn't really surprise me, though - I don't think it's uncommon for people to unconsciously mimic other people's stuff. I'm going to play Devil's advocate and give Kurt the benefit of the doubt wink

And I'm sure Axl wouldn't say no to being comforted by you! In fact I'd bet on it. He's one troubled hombre, from what I've heard/seen.

He is a strangely over-looked person in the music world; I don't think people like to encourage and support people who are as arrogant and ego-driven as Axl is. It's a shame. I think his ego and all the drama of GnR over the years has really overshadowed his talent. I've always hoped that he might strike out on his own someday and become a really serious singer/songwriter, really prove himself as something more than just this rock persona that's been built up around him.

I'm glad someone else loves Estranged biggrin Though I'm not keen on the video. I was very used to the images I'd created in my own head to go with the song by the time I saw the video, and the two weren't even close to being similar! My head was full of gloomy interiors and the like; then I see the video and it's this huge production with Axl riding dolphins!?!??! Bizarre surreal

I'll be sure to tell you some of my GnR anecdotes next post (I'm not used to typing this much!). I'm warning you, though - I ramble like Abe Simpson on a good day!

I hope this won't bother you, but I posted your "hairy pits" pic on the hairy pits thread in the SG Hirsute group. So if you suddenly find yourself inundated with posts from freaks going on about your pits, it's all my fault! Blame me! biggrin

I'm part Canadian, by the way. Sort of.

Axl never looked fantastic, i have to say. but Ragdolls picture post.. dude.. seriously... have it reversed!
I had my left nipple done, it got infected, took it out, healed up alright. The healing time after removal is a lot less than the healing time with it in, my friend has had his done for 2 years, and they frequently play up. Someone said that they throb afterwards. I found that to be true as well, if anything the clamp hurt more but i find thats the case with most piercings. Keep em clean, turn em gently, wash with a very sensitive soap or solution like salt...
