you guys are so sweet, thanks for all the birthday wishes. especially thanks to tadzi who gave me the gift of gnr, now that's a gift that keeps on giving. i've been drunk for days, i look like shit, i work at 2:30 haha. but, yeah, it's new years, and i'm newly 19. my year in terms of my age always matches with the year, you know. like i was 18 in 2005 and i'm 19 in 2006. it all coincides nicely.

2005:

here's what i looked like in march 2005, it's the earliest picture i have from the year, it's from when i first dyed my hair red.



in 2005 i...

- broke up with my long time boyfriend mike of 2 and a half years, saving myself and my sanity.
- got dumped by a girl, nish, who i was with for seven months, and who i was crazy in love with. it was good for me though, very good for me because i was dying in that relationship.
- moved away from toronto where i had lived for the past 2 years, back home with my family in the small town i grew up in.
- did shrooms for the first time and tripped out in a way i'll never forget. it was awesome, and undescribable. ostrages and dinosaurs.
- shot my first set for suicide girls with the lovely oryx.
- went to summer school, got a credit, made a plan to finish high school (which i've been following through on).
- became a pretty big drunk, possibly as the result of being broken hearted, haha. but partied hard and had a blast. there were so many awesome nights in the summer that i'll never forget (and so many i can't remember haha).
- got drugged and almost date raped by a stranger. escaped.
- went to southampton for a month, partied insanely much, made out with pretty surfer boys under streetlamps, got into fist fights, pissed in the streets and got in trouble with the cops too many times.

- returned to bradford, started school. and stayed in school which is a big deal for a chronic drop out like me.
- met a chick named katryn at my school and became good friends with her.



- finally started learning guitar. it's something i've wanted to do for years, and now i'm doing it.
- did e again for the first time in since i stopped and had a good time.
- got a job and kept it, woo! this is my first job, and i am super happy that they decided to keep me on, because i was only hired as christmas staff. it feels good to be making money and saving up for big plans.
- got back to talking to an old friend of mine named kathleen who i had stopped talking too, which is really awesome. this was my best friend throughout my whole childhood and up till i was fifteen.
- partied like crazy in the streets of toronto until it was too cold to, stayed over there with no plae to go twice, crazy times. sleeping in tim hortons and casey making out with her crackhead, or puking on the bus.

- ran into my attempted rapist at a show, freaked out and hit him, was dragged out, went back in, dragged out again, bla bla bla, banned from the bar and ticketed for unaderage drinking.
- got back on good terms with nish, which is good after the horrible way it ended.
- turned down the love of my life cuz he's too scared to really be with me.
- somehow, i am surviving in this house with my psychotic parents.
- listened and am listening to extremely large quantities of gnr, for my sanities sake, and partying whenever i can. but i'm mixing it up by being responsible. you know, so i can leave this fuckin place.



2006:

i'm gonna...

- finish high school
- work and save my money
- party, party
- fuck shit up
- move across the country
- fall in love , hopefully.
- get my ass in a band.
- shoot some more sets.
