today is the end of 29... the end of an era... oh well, fuck it.

my turntable has been dormant for 8 months now i think... kind of depressing... i need to sort through my records, weed out the dead wood... i have lost all faith in electronic music... it's sad when some speaker tweaker you met a rave night 10-12 years ago is some new guru of minimal techno... time to break out the jethro tull.. everybody knows the music industry is bullshit, and after owning a record store for a few years i should know this by now, it just seems more pathetic than ever though....

saturday AM update :

off to my old stomping grounds for the day... london, ontario... mostly because i need to hook up a babysitter.. feeling a little groggy from the pre-birthday warm up last night... i need to fill my new thermos full of coffee, and enjoy this playlist i'm working on.... sonic's rendezvous band, mc5, new york dolls....

fred smith and johnny thunders... not too shabby.... eh?
