trying to read as many journals as i can tonight.. nothing is more amusing than a good journal entry. unless it's the thought of me filling out my collection of "encyclopedia brown", and "choose your own adventure" literature.
on the turntable : big youth - screaming target
this was brought on by my afternoon cricket watching... this is the ultimate drinking sport. 7 hours of fun.. i saw a cricket test from the late-ninties with the west indies playing.. outside the stadium there were people perched atop palm trees, and a flatbed truck with a live reggae soundsystem.
saw the video for "separate ways" by journey early this morning... steve-o and the boys rocking out by the loading dock, and the fucking synth player is playing air keyboards.. absolutely the stupidest thing i've ever seen.
but journey has some of the best cover art ever.. i can picture some old school rock hero with some journey tattoos. frontiers maybe.
