i'm not going to university next year, i don't like being instructed WHAT to learn let alone HOW to learn. i hate all this discourse analysis and study technique bullshit. in my defense, i've applied to art school. my parents seem to believe that my chances of acceptance is minimal and suggested i have a back up plan. so i told them i would pursue a music career. they informed me that under these circumstances they would disown me. funny how once i am an "adult" their perspective on my music goes from 'practice hard so you can be famous some day' to 'you have no chance, go pick up a diploma and work in a dead-end job for the rest of your life'.
