Japan and back... I saw nothing but the inside of hotel rooms, the inside of a few hipster bars like rock rock, and some fucking amazing rock shows. I am going to post the entire fucking tokyo show tomorrow night, I am encoding now... laughing to myself because money infection is on, again... the song seems to haunt me these days. so much to do, and I am exhausted but I am excited to share some of the experiences of Japan with AMEN... sweet suicide.
Tomorrow is SIGGRAPH, then back to this AMEN work.
I took a few hours tonight to see the Backyard Babies set at the Trubador, the entire planet was there to see the first show in LA in 5 years, and it was pure rock and roll. I am so glad to have seen that damned show, they played Minus Celsius as an encore... and it was perfect.
it is 6:15AM, I am going to catch a few minutes of sleep before the sun eats away any hope of sleep.

What I find the most disturbing is the intolerance she seems to reinforce.
I see the ugly rising head of all kinds of intolerant behavior, and it is deeply disturbing. I see people desperate for change, but they don't where the change will bring them. It is a critical time to strengthen ourselves and our communities, and this type of rhetoric does nothing to bridge our gaps...

nice to see that somewhere out there someone in a suit cares about art..
I looked at the aerial photography site at work, since my computer here was loading it extremely slowly. Obviously great pics; I think my favorite is the camel caravan that's at a side angle. Such extreme differences in shade.
We're blessed here on earth, with all these beautiful different landscapes and people... if only we could get the hang of that not-killing-each-other thing, we'd be perfect.
