My computer came back today.
Well... Kind of.
It went back to be fixed again... Things are still not right.
i'm attracted to broken things, I guess... in some wierd way. hence my loves and life, lovelife, loveline, lifeline... you know... whatever.
I don't think I have been computerless for this long since college, when I would fix everyone else's computers so I could have...

This really is some wild speculation and dreaming on my part. I can
only hope that Apple, Sony and Chiat Day have some brilliant Super Bowl advertisement waiting for us this year introducing the Apple Home Solution, the digital lifestyle hub the world has been waiting for...
I hope I don't get in trouble for wishing. Hey... Can I get in trouble for

Hope that you're doing well.

Dear Koolthing... your journal entries often make me feel like I don't live in the same century as you do... more precisely, they confort me in the feeling that I'm a 19th century man; except for this "internet" thing some friends of mine took time for explaining to me and that allows me now to send you my wishes for Christmas and other season's greetings!...
I hope you don't mind but your mail is going to be my LJ post for this
evening. Your story is something to share, although I also think
we have some serious discussion ahead, simply from my very different
perspective of Dutch society... Especially from talking with so many kids that felt rejected...not for who they are... but for who they are perceived to be....

I read it yesterday afternoon, as I'd said. Huh. Well, the thing is, yeah, let's face it, Islamic culture has a bad record on women and homosexuals... but the thing is, 1) the guys who spit at that guy don't give a ass's ass about anyone's rights, obviously; they're just being bigots, 2) this country plays a lot of games with freedom. Overall, there is a lot of freedom, but the law leaves it's loopholes to screw over people, and women are held back by the glass ceiling thingy.
It's certainly help more if I was familiar with T Van Gogh, or at least Holland.
I'm sorry I can't use better terminology; I'm in the process of getting a bit loaded. I also don't mean to sound strident; once again, bourbon.
You don't have to feel obligated to write in my Journal. I realize I lead a pretty silly little life and write about small matters. You know, I was going to put in my Boards comment that I admire you more than anyone on SG. I didn't because, well... there are people I've hung around quite a bit more who might take that as a diminution of them, and I don't know you that well yet... but I don't mean it as a diminution to anyone else when I say that I should've written it anyway, because I think it's true. I admire WhiskeyFightPit and BrookeLynne a lot, too... and klaire and 730A_trixel_fem... people living more than myself.
Yeah, I looked up "diminution." www.m-w.com saves my bacon again.

is voting an act of political freedom or political conformity
There is a hallucinatory quality to my life these days that just doesn't
seem to go away... I speak with friends about voting tomorrow, and the

don't dare repeat what they have said because it is too sad, embarrassing.

Pushing a few buttons, Lobster, Garbage of Eden...
I am exhausted, and didn't do that much today, there is so much to say and I am not really in a mindset to write... ignore the disjointedness of the post, I just need a little reminder for later. You know, when I read my own journal.
I have been having horrible nightmares about DG's kid Anthony...

I wasn't sure if you meant ^ that fantasy, or the Profile "Fantasy" (which I only slightly changed, to make a bit better and more honest), but either way- yes, I do concoct a damnhellfuck fine fantasy, usually.
perhaps that is why we are alone now,,, not to quote tiffany or anything... but when HST gives up... we're all fucked.
Hunter was sick, by reports I've read. Real sick (to improperly use an adjective form). Escaping debilitating disease isn't a give-up to me; I think it's important to spread the news that it was something else to HST fans... not that giving up strikes me as the worst thing one can do, in the face of garbage.
It would be hard for me to summarize into... a less-than-100-page essay exactly what I mean by that.
I was re-reading an interview a friend did of Lemmy a few years ago. "Grunge" was discussed, and in passing Lemmy referred to Cobain as a "weak man". It's one of the few things Lemmy's said that I bristle at. One can't know the complete landscape within another's head. One can guess, but its just a guess.
