Leaving for Summer Sonic 04 - Osaka & Tokyo with AMEN in a week.
Fuck am I excited to see them destroy...smash...bring an exorcism of this shit entertainment industry in a wall of noise and blood, expose the fucking money worshipping whores for who and what they really are...
I remember hearing Michael Gira mumbling about the song "I AM THE SUN" and the power he felt in the realization the hate and horror inside was enough to infect the world...I was in a weird space, in Amsterdamned with the EX, but so alone and filled with horror and hate. Mmm....It is good to know it is there for the asking, that anger, that rage.
frustrating days, these. I am looking forward to a little escapism.

Japan and back... I saw nothing but the inside of hotel rooms, the inside of a few hipster bars like rock rock, and some fucking amazing rock shows. I am going to post the entire fucking tokyo show tomorrow night, I am encoding now... laughing to myself because money infection is on, again... the song seems to haunt me these days. so much to do, and I am exhausted but I am excited to share some of the experiences of Japan with AMEN... sweet suicide.
Tomorrow is SIGGRAPH, then back to this AMEN work.
I took a few hours tonight to see the Backyard Babies set at the Trubador, the entire planet was there to see the first show in LA in 5 years, and it was pure rock and roll. I am so glad to have seen that damned show, they played Minus Celsius as an encore... and it was perfect.
it is 6:15AM, I am going to catch a few minutes of sleep before the sun eats away any hope of sleep.
