Holidays can be difficult even during the best of times. Sunday was, as you may have guessed, no exception. My sister and I ended up at the wrong country club, I guess Trump is out of fashion this week...I love spending time with my little brother (he is 7). I didn't have a chance to talk with the EX's son, which was really painful. I ended up on the phone with an old friend, Casey - he came to the rescue as I was sitting around feeling depressed and insisted I come out to dinner up at Tantra. As I walked in this beautiful woman rushes up hugging me and laughing.

Oh, shit - I haven't seen this girl for 12 or 13 years...se used to be the best friend of my old girlfriend, she is dating my best friend now - they met on match.com and this is way too fucking wierd, I am freaking out...then she is introducing me to this guy, this film maker I haven't seen for 6 or 7 years, umm....is this an intervention or something, I ask...no, here...drink this...before you know it we have a table full of freaks and drinks, and we are taking pictures in the bathroom...thank god for rockstars and madness...
From the highs to the lows, Monday and Tuesday were pretty fucked. Last night I missed Casey, Twiggy and the Hilton sisters in favor of running through the bushes half naked trying to find the neighbor's dog that was grabbed by coyotes. I heart the neighbor screaming, and thought someone had been murdered (the last time I had heard someone scream like that, there were three dead) the coyotes got scared and dropped the little dog, they took him to the hospital, I think he is ok.
I watched Requiem for a Dream two or three times, I really freaked out on the cinematography, and had to watch parts of it repeatedly...that film in conjunction with a million little pieces (read the damn book, already) had me ready to cut my wrists. Then while I was freaking out...I had numerous conversations with the EX, which fill me with joy, and fill me with anger, and frustration, and FUCK!!

I keep thinking all of this could be really easy, I could make it really easy if I would just forget about all of it, and man...there is this gorgeous girl who seems fucked up enough that we would probably get along really well...hmmm....she is up at 4 in the morning consistently...
