I have been trying to stay so busy there is no time left for the pity party, and it seems to be effective, except at night, you know - when the rest of the world is sleeping...I start spinning...

A quick recap...

The week had a big emotional start - the Ex came down from Santa Barbara to visit, and I spent some desperately needed time with her walking on the beach and talking. She sent me a letter a day or two later, that just tore me apart at the seams. I love her enough to want her to be happy, whatever the cost - and spent the next few days trying to build the resolve to embrace the situation, and let go.

Met Cakemix and her entourage in Westwood, and had an evening of chat and smiles. Rick and I had drinks later at a mainstreet bar, and we danced like fools for hours.

SG hookup at Fred 62, and Opiate for the Masses show at The Viper Room.
Met the most gorgeous little freak at the show, she left my knees weak.

Amazing dinner at Yamashiro with Janie and Robert. Saw some celebrities worthy of calling the tabloids about. Had a very long walk later in the evening, and chatted about commitments to ourselves and each other, collaboration as a way to rebuild the lost magic, drinking too much.
