Blog Homework: What advice would you give your teenage (or younger) self?

Hello dear SG friends, @missy and @rambo ❤

I don't know if I'm still considered a teenager, but I'll just address my 14 year old self.

" Dear Jenny,

I'm you, but almost 6 years older. So many things have happened in that time, I want you to listen closely!

I know that you think you're ugly and unlovable, too fat and stupid. You'll encounter an older man soon, who will flirt with you and make you lots of compliments. You don't need him to be a better person. You are smart and your grades are amazing. Don't trust that guy, please! He'll ruin you, he'll ruin everything you love.

You don't need to be like the other girls in order to fit in. You don't need to lose weight to get noticed by them. Those girls didn't make school later and they're the real losers now.

Stop. Cutting. Please. Trust me. You can still stop, soon it'll be too late.

You will never be alone. There are so many people who love you, including your parents!

Don't let others disrespect you and your body.

Beautifully written. If only we could let our younger self know all the dangers that we would face. Would we be the better for it or would we be in a worse place having not went through all the pain and suffering to become the people we are today. It’s a very tough question. Glad you are here now and looking great. 💕

Just looking at your latest set, the energy you put out there shows that you CAN overcome anything! Be who you are and dont listen to others. It is hard to undue the past but now you can move on and be yourself and be free and Happy. please keep putting stuff out there, it might help others!
