Yeah, I'm starting to think that it might be too complicated to add SG stuff to the mix. Plus, you're moving that weekend so you're busy. I'll have to get down there some other time.

*daps it out for the good music taste* I like that song as well! But I'm afraid its going to get old quick due to the fact it will be blazing it up all over the new Transformers movie. Good stuff fo' sho! And definitely send us pics of the new place once you get settled. biggrin

The hunt for a new living space continues. The roommate is picky and cost us two perfectly good apartments already. I've also been looking at places on my own and I think she's aware of my need to look out for myself before others.

I'm a little weary about living on my own. This would be my first time and I wonder if I'll like...

Yeah the bills thing sucks, but trust me--you will LOVE IT. I promise. You can't fully appreciate it until you are forced to get a roommate again. SO LIVE IT UP!
dave_h:
What's to do? Is there something going on?

I have dinner plans, though.

So this whole injured knee thing, I'm kind of over it.

I called one place for physical therapy and it's $100+ per visit. I'm supposed to go 2-3 times a week for 4-6 weeks. Are you fucking kidding me? I had a major freak out session over that shit. I've since calmed down and am realizing the sooner I get it taken care of, the...

Hey! If you had a choice of being the top scientist in your field or getting mad cow disease which would you choose?
dave_h:
Stuff like that makes me love the military. We get socialized health care. All the knee-fixins I can handle for free.

I've taken to waking up at 4 am. I'm not sure whats up with these sleep patterns. Sometimes it's normal. Sometimes I can never get to sleep. Every now and then it's waking up at odd hours of the morning.

Right now, I'm getting to the point where I am insanely sleepy and it's 9:20 in the morning.

In other news, I always seem to...

Awe... Turn that frown upside down! (LOL, I always hated that statement due to its massive amounts of corniness). BTW, in an odd note... I was walking by H&M this weekend when coming back from Wondercon and it totally made me think of you?!!! I have no clue why but it did!

Keep it shiny side up (what the fuck does that even meaaaaaaan?). wink
obd:
well, we'll have to hold off on the softball for a bit then. I'm sure we can find something that allows you to sit until your knee feels better. don't rush back, it will only make the injury last longer. I hope you feel better soon.

I used to say "You always have a choice." Now I'm wondering if that's actually true.

Maybe I just see the other choices and I think this is the best one, for now... but how can this be the best choice if I feel so unhappy?

Surely there must be one that I've overlooked.

Also, I posted this somewhere else but I feel like it's...

This is a great lesson, and a good moment in the movie! It really gets me thinking though, there is so much that I want to do in life you know?

Lately, my favorite thing to do is be up late when everything is quiet, everyone is asleep.

I sit in my room, in my bed and just draw, think, and organize. I don't have to worry about what other people are thinking or doing. I don't have to worry about hurting someone else just by interacting with them. I don't have to do anything for...

Oddly enough, I've been doing the exact same thing. I've been a little worried about it, particularly after I said some really awful stuff to both people I didn't know and people I did, not too long ago. Actually, that was the day before I got so depressed. I wonder if it's the weather or something...?
mrs_misha:
not really, some of us need this alone time.. I do.. Quite often I need to be completely alone, it's sometime hard for MorningStar to get.. I just need it. to day dream, to be with myself.. A day to not have to ask someone else what they want to do or to consider anyone else s needs or wants. I don't have to be "ON". I sometimes fell guilty and selfish, but after a nice 6 or so hours I am doing much better and ready to re-enter the human race.

Agreed... Blood Bank is greaaat! I actually have been listening to Woods quite a bit as well, though I can totally see how majority of people probably are not into it.

As for the Barack thing, I can see what you mean by the status symbol that he is becoming. The difference between him and the men he stands with in those artistic representations (such as Ghandi, etc) is that they have had their walk, made their path, and forged history. I think what people want is for him to be there already (at least for our own "hope for the future" sake).

My own opinion is that we will get there, and the reason I get so excited to see or hear him speak is that for the first time in my own personal life, I have seen a true American LEADER, not a man who dictates the moves we make solely through the discretion of government officials but one that looks to the people of the nation to make those moves with him. It's the realization that he is the motivator for us, the people, to make the moves ourselves. Definitely a different picture than I am used to seeing from our nations last few leaders, even the good ones. Anyways, we will see what happens, my outlook is positive as I am sure yours is as well. biggrin
