I figure it's never too late to become a responsible American... no, wait sometimes you can be too late to become responsible American. I haven't really been actively keeping up with the candidates for this year's election. I mean, aside from listening to the jokes on Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me... or watching politics related YouTube videos. Anyway, I was listening to NPR earlier and they were going around Virginia, asking people who they think they are going to vote for, asking their opinions, etc. Turns out, like me, Virginia is mostly undecided. I mean I'm definitely more of a Democrat than Republican, more left than right, but I still want to hear from both sides because I'm still not that impressed by Barack Obama and all I know of McCain and Palin comes from satirical political comedy.
So, what are some sites that you'd found useful in researching the candidates? I'm looking for more resources, so far I've just looked at NPR. I'm sure I could easily find things on MSNNBC, CNN, etc. but I want to know if you have a secret website that you go to for their political commentary and information about the candidates and their strategies/plans/platforms.

To be perfectly honest, I was a big Hillary supporter, and while I definitely support Obama, he was not my first choice. I do think he will do a great job if elected.
As far as McCain goes, I have always respected him as a politician (regardless of the fact that I don't agree with his politics), however the behavior as of late has tarnished that respect irreparably. I wont start on Sarah Palin, except to say that I disagree with just about everything that she stands for.
