coupla days off - going to bristol tonight to see the mighty betaband, the new album is great, if a bit less "experimental".
most of my family hail from that area so i'll drop in and see my old grandad on the way, (not been for over a year, whoops!)
got a local gig tuesday night at the vic bars here in newquay, the band are called 'long donkey' and they mostly do good old grunge tunes - mudhoney's 'touch me i'm sick' being a favourite
