brain is in the dead place. an 8 hour marathon karaoke session was a little bit too much for it i think.

nothing some BBQ won't fix though.

there's no way i'll be able to get any work done today

i'm in limbo. for at least another 3days.

it's monday night, i'm home and i'm watching TV.

i've almost finished putting together my new set and i should start booking a couple of gigs for before i go away.
and maybe some for once i get to japan.

i feel boring, so i think it's now time for rum.

after a weekend of crazy working i've woken up late today and i'm probably not going to move off the couch till dinner.

TV shows on film editing, art and crazy things, tonic water with lime, and internet. i'm not going anywhere for a while.

i should have a good nights sleep and get over it before rehearsal tomorrow night.

i've been looking forward to the eagle and the worm rehearsal. i don't want to rock up sick for that...

i've started working on a new solo performance piece. this time i'm going to use the full recording of peter and the wolf by Sergei Prokofiev but manipulate the crap out of it.

i'm going to try and manipulate each instrument in accordance with the mood of the section and see what happens. the dark sections should sound much darker, the happy sections much happier...

had a gig last night, a little un-expected seeing as i found out about it on facebook while having my morning coffee and a read.

all went well though, first time at the noise bar and all. the loop station died while setting up so a rapid change in tactic was made and i got it all working for me.
