first gig of Eagle and the Worm was success. well, i think it was.
after soundcheck i found happy hour and started on the beers. by the time i got on stage i was nice and happy. and played a hell of a show.
man have i missed playing gigs drunk. i haven't been able to do that for years since i started with all the experimental noise and electronic stuff. the whole thing about having to be able to hear everything that's going on before it gets out of hand kept me from letting go.
but last night with charts all organised (by me) and not having to worry about anything except for standing up-right and hitting all the right entries points it was on.
the fact that we had a BBQ in the beer garden was good as well. massive mushrooms, hot sausages, onions, bread, tomato sauce and mustard. so much joy. so much beer. so much fun.
i think photos of the night might surface at some point. but until then it's all up to your imagination as to what it was like.
